MUTE, THE FIRST CAMPANIA FOOD AND WINE MUSEUM
MUTE – Museum of Food and Wine Tradition it is the first museum of Campania food and wine, inaugurated in Naples in December 2023.
A project that includes food, art and culture: it is in fact at the same time a food shop, bistro and art gallery.
From an idea of the entrepreneur Diego Minutaglio with the lawyer Luigi Lamberti, with the contribution of the Campania Region, the MUTE is directed by Francesco Acampora, owner of the Irpinian agricultural company Il Cortiglio and president of Aprol Campania (Organization of Olive Producers of the Campania Region).

The structure of the MUTE is developed on three levels, for a total surface area of over one thousand square metres. A series of monitors projects slides and videos dedicated to the fundamentals of gastronomy, such as traditional culinary tools.
The space is still in progress, currently only the first floor is open, where it is possible to buy products from the best companies in the Campania food and wine supply chain and taste the chef's dishes Alberto Palermo for lunch, aperitif and dinner, naturally based on seasonal local products.
The other two levels below, once active, will host artist exhibitions and installations, training events, educational workshops and themed tastings. The reproduction of the typical shops of the Campania tradition is also planned.
Bloggers and communication operators had the opportunity to make a preview visit organized by the Press Office by Alessandro Savoia and Federica Riccio.
The completion of the MUTE works is expected by the end of 2024; while waiting, you can enjoy good Neapolitan cuisine and buy quality products.
