THE BEST ITALY OILS 2026/27

The guide is hot off the press The best oils in Italy 2026/27 the Gambero Rosso, dedicated to the companies and labels most representative of the Italian olive heritage.

Now in its sixteenth edition, the publication reviews 365 oil companies e 735 extra virgin oils from all over Italy and assigns 15 Special Awards to companies that have stood out for quality, innovation and valorisation of the territory. Numbers that reflect the richness of Italian olive growing, thanks to the largest heritage of olive biodiversity in the world.

I'm 156 the oils awarded with the Three Leaves, the highest recognition awarded by Gambero Rosso.

A Leaf completes the evaluation system (more than discreet oils), two leaves (very good oils) e due Foglie Rosse (excellent oils).

The guide also offers an overview of the main regional cultivars, without neglecting the less widespread varieties, and indicates restaurants that are particularly attentive to the culture of oil and specialized shops where to purchase it.

Published in both Italian and English, the guide from this year, as well as being available in the traditional paper edition, completely renewed in graphics, it can also be consulted for free online, upon registration.

In Campania sono 9 oils with the Tre Foglie rating.
