O meglio, “Sì grazie”, perché la serata che ha visto come protagonisti gli arrosticini abruzzesi e le castagne cotti al barbecue ha avuto come titolo “This is not America”. Il barbecue – metodo di cottura (nonché strumento) molto diffuso negli Stati Uniti – è la passione degli scatenati grillers Campania Barbecue Friends, ma i prodotti da cuocere scelti per l’appuntamento sono rigorosamente italiani.
Location dell’evento, A Scioa, luogo d’incontro per la diffusione della cultura brassicola e non solo.
The two "innkeepers of the bad" Mena D'Avino and Luca Mauriello have chosen a chestnut beer to pair with the delicacies offered, the Bastarda Rossa from the Amiata Brewery.
The response from the public was great: 450 kebabs and 8 kg of brushed chestnuts, on a cheerful evening with an atmosphere of warm conviviality.
Out of modesty, I cannot reveal precisely to what extent my jaws and my stomach contributed to the roundup of food... I will simply say that my contribution was fundamental 😀
