NATAVOT DI KBIRR, LA BIRRA CHE PARLA NAPOLETANO
A line of beers closely connected with the production territory, from names inspired by the local dialect to the labels bearing the symbols and traditions of the local culture: we talk about Kbirr, Neapolitan project conceived by entrepreneur Fabio Ditto.
The Kbirr name can be read much like the Neapolitan expression "Wow what a beer!"As as the theme song of a brand with an international imprint, and both interpretations reflect the spirit of this enterprise.
A debut first on the market, Natavot (“another time"), Lager unfiltered and unpasteurized, whose label reproduces a stylized image of San Gennaro. Also in this case the name lends itself to two interpretations: the desire to drink again and again, and the reference to the dissolution of the blood miracle of the patron saint that is renewed every year.
For the baptism of the blonde with a strong Neapolitan soul 5 July was chosen a highly representative place, nel centro storico cittadino: the stables of the Prince of Sansevero Palace in Piazza San Domenico Maggiore, home artist's atelier Lello Esposito (we had met, other garments, which).
Painter and sculptor, Esposito is famous for his works depicting emblems and characters intimately connected with the history of Naples, tra i quali, appunto, San Gennaro.
Its underground laboratory was therefore an ideal location for this blend of art and high quality products, enriched by another Neapolitan excellence, ovvero la gastronomia. Haute cuisine interpreted by two chefs from Campania awarded a Michelin star: Lino Scarallo Palazzo Petrucci Marianna Vitale Sud Ristorante.
A truly unique presentation-tasting dedicated to beer and small delicacies, with giant sculptures, huge canvases and colorful masks of Pulcinella to act as a backdrop.
Natavot is a light beer and drinkable, from the prevailing malt flavor and aroma of bread crust.
Perfect with pizza, ma non solo.
Marianna Vitale matched to Natavot oyster raw broccoli with centrifuged and foam of tomato water, while Lino Scarallo has approached the beer to two great Neapolitan dishes.
The first inspired by the classic "fiorillo" stuffed and fried, but broken down and without breading. The pumpkin flower fact was crystallized with sugar, and served with cottage cheese, anchovy and tomato confit. Un'illusione taste Perfetta!
As the second creation, mozzarella cheese with eggplant parmesan accompanied by a sandwich-tarallo: fresh and tasty dish.
After Natavot will be the turn of two other creatures of the line Kbirr, whose recipes have been developed by the master brewer Achille Certainty: Scotch Ale Jattura, whose label depicts a superstitious horn, followed by Paliat (which it translates more or less solemnly beating), an Imperial Stout with the label a Neapolitan Mastiff.
Kbirr is distributed by Loco for Drink.
