POPPELLA, CHOCOLATE DESSERTS PAIRED WITH SERROCROCE AMARODIBIRRA
Poppella, the well-known pastry shop in the heart of the Sanità district of Naples, starting from September 1st, an original pairing will be offered for tasting, born from the meeting between the pastry chef Ciro Poppella e il mastro birraio Vito Pagnotta, owner of the Irpinia brewery Serrocroce.
The pairing is about Amarodibirra, elixir obtained from an infusion of aromatic plants, flowers and spices (including rosemary, bay leaf and sage) hand-picked in the Irpinia mountains, blended with Serrocroce beers from the agricultural supply chain, and two of the sweet creations of the Neapolitan pastry chef.
The Serrocroce brewery not only uses raw materials from Campania for the production of its beers, but he grows them on his own. With its sweetness Amarodibirra goes very well with desserts.
Ciro Poppella, was struck by the aromatic power of the bitter and its spicy notes, he started experimenting with some of his chocolate specialties, until you find the ideal combination with the Caprese and with the DeliPop gold, its chocolate semifreddo made with the cream bow (that of the famous Snowflakes, here in chocolate version).
A fruitful encounter, the one between two Campania entrepreneurs who believe in quality, in territoriality, in the ability to express the goodness of a territory in a small moment of pleasure.
