PIZZERIE D’ITALIA 2022
The guide was finally presented again in presence in Naples Pizzerie d’Italia 2022 del Gambero Rosso.
In this ninth edition they are ben 680 the selected premises, between pizzerias on the plate and pizzerias by the slice. Oltre 60 new entry, di cui 6 among the winners with the Tre Spicchi (BOB Alchemy in wedges in Montepaone, Long 9 in Florence, The Word a Ercolano, Pupillo Pura Pizza a Frosinone, Q won smell, True Electric in Milazzo) and a new Tre Rotelle (Tellia in Turin).
After a difficult year, the industry is grappling with a new start. The boundary between pizzeria and restaurant is getting thinner and thinner: attention to intolerances is growing, the offer of drinks and dessert menus.
In the guide the votes and the ranking are back: at the top with 96 punti Pepe Beans by Franco Pepe e I Tigli by Simone Padoan, followed by La Filiale a L’Albereta, I Masanielli and Renato Bosco Pizzeria along with 95 punti.

Pizza Napoletana: Summer Light (sauteed escarole, provola, hummus di ceci, cucunci, cod sheet, potato rosti and lemon zest), da La Contrada in Aversa (Caserta).
Italian Style Pizza: Tuna Now (smoked, tuna belly and mixed salad with vinegar, almond tartar sauce), da A14 in Roncade (Treviso).
Pizza to Cut: Pizza with friggitelli (roasted friggitelli with buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and anchovies, all raw), da Yeast Pizza, Pane smell.
Sweet Pizza: Absolute fishing (namelaka alla pesca bianca, eggnog, wine and peach sauce, peach brunoise, menta, tobacco fishing chips, noci pecan), da Your Illuminati Pizza smell.
