PREVIEW MALAZÈ 2024, NUN VAC ‘E PRESS TOUR
Even in 2024 is scheduled Malaz, the great ArcheoEnoGastronomic event of the Campi Flegrei.
The seventeenth edition of the event, that will take place by the 26 al 28 settembre in the municipalities of Pozzuoli, Bacoli, Monte di Procida, Room, Naples and the island of Procida, this year it becomes “Off”, with events, tastings of typical products and wines, cooking class, organized in vineyards, archaeological sites, social gardens, cantine, ristoranti, ville, farms, large hotels open to the public.
The calendar includes ten widespread events, with eight itineraries and two food and wine meetings.
He is always the deus ex machina, Rosario Mattera, creator of the exhibition; starting from the edition 2024, the news is that Malazè is created in collaboration with Campi Flegrei Active, the Destination Management project directed by Giulio Gambardella which involves the Phlegraean tourist operators.
Malazè's goal is always to bring as many people as possible closer to the local food and wine tradition, and to the knowledge of large and small monuments, of history, of myths and legends.
The first widespread event, the preview of Malazé Off, è stato il Nun vac ‘e press tour, that is, a Press Tour in the name of slowness, of taking all the time necessary to calmly enjoy the Phlegraean beauties.
DISCOVERING THE SUBMERGED CITY OF BAIA
The tour began with the suggestive visit to Baia Submerged Archaeological Park aboard Iris, the glass keel boat by Lomar Dreams.
From the transparent bottom of the boat you can admire the mosaics of the Sunken City of Baia, while on the surface you skirt the Aragonese Castle of Baia.
The archaeological tour was enlivened by a breakfast of jams and mandarin juices prepared by Flegrei segments, a small Puteola business managed by Raffaella Melilli which deals with the transformation of Phlegraean agricultural products, in order to enhance the fruits of the territory. Fruit goes from field to bottle or jar in no time, and is manipulated as little as possible: the juices have no added sugar, jams and marmalades have just enough sugar to not change the natural taste.
CELLARS OF THE SEA
After the boat ride, visit to the panoramic Vigna Amphitheater of Cantine del Mare for a tasting of Campi Flegrei wines: Torrefumo Campi Flegrei DOP (Falanghina 100%) and Brezzad'Amare Spumante Brut (Falanghina 100%).
Vigna Anfiteatro is a charming vineyard overlooking the sea, with a shape that resembles an arena.
THE VERY MOON
Lunch break at the restaurant Al Chiar di Luna, with tasting of dishes prepared with ingredients from the Campi Flegrei: blue fish, cozze, cannellini tomato, grass peas, agrumi.
Per finire, guided tour at the Cuma Archaeological Park accompanied by Tourism and Services guides, and closing at Stufe di Nerone spa a Bacoli.

Dalle 9:30 alle 12:30 in the Monte Nuovo and Lake Averno nature oasis, “Descent into hell” organized with APS VISIT CAMPI FLEGREI among chestnut groves and Mediterranean scrub.
Dalle 10 alle 12:30 “Walk through history and traditions in the alleys of the seaside village of Pozzuoli” with Turismo eservizi srl and focus on blue fish.
Dalle 10 alle 13 the “Bacoli, through a mythic story from a vignette" with APS Misenum.
Dalle 10:30 alle 12 in the Villa del Torchio in Quarto “Vinarium: the history of wine ... from the Romans to today" with APS Artemide, Carputo cellars, “Il IV Miglio” cellars.
Dalle 11 alle 13:30 in the Orco Garden on Lake Averno cooking class “Between nature and tradition, with cicerchia, seasonal herbs and vegetables, Falanghina D.O.C. and Piedirosso D.O.C.”.
Dalle 10 alle 12:30 “Prosecuting vegetable gardens, gardens and streets typical of the island" with the Vivara APS Association on the island of Procida.
