The traditional Neapolitan pastry specialties includes dozens of rich and tasty, the most famous of which is almost certainly the baba.
My favorite, however, is the sfogliatella: a shell of pastry or dough enclosing a soft heart of ricotta and candied fruit, sweet and fragrant.
To be savored freshly baked and sprinkled with a cloud of powdered sugar, is perfect for breakfast in the morning, or for a comforting and refreshing.
Many are the stores in Naples that produce these delights; as usual, I report here only those who prefer.
